2019 January - March
January 2019
Tis the Season for making resolutions and starting fresh...not sure we did any of that sort of thing, but we did stay in routine.
Scott had to travel for work to Vegas and California.
Isaac started his Spring Semester at UCF with 4 law classes plus English. We shall see at the end of this semester if he's still interested in law.
Time to prep for lacrosse season....new uniforms for the Varsity team. JV got new/used from last years...it's a win win!
The girls lacrosse team started their season off with tryouts and the dinner/paint party. Chloe and Ashley ended up picking the same sign this year, but different colors. "Start Living Your Life Fearlessly" that sums it up!
February 2019
Chloe did some dog sitting. Lacrosse games started so it was back to practice daily and games a couple times a week for Chloe and Coach Scott.
Feb 23rd vs St. Thomas Aquinas
And this is the moment Chloe's upper thigh was injured by #18 the other players knee hit Chloe's thigh
The trainers said at the time it was a bone contusion
See Chloe on bench with Ice on her leg
Shockingly Chloe played in another game 4 hours later, but I think adrenaline was racing through her b/c a month later it's still trying to heal
And this is where you can find me at the home games up in the box/booth...behind one of these: Score Board/Clock or the Camera for Coach Scott
Isaac decided to volunteer coaching for the boys lacrosse team at the high school. He's a great coach and loves being around the game. He's the goalie coach for both JV and Varsity as well as the assistant coach to the JV defense is his specialty.

I got to spend my Valentines weekend in Maryland to surprise my mom. It was great trip. Spent time with mom and dad we watched movies, went out to eat, did some puzzles and even got to visit Ryan and Sandie. We went to a awesome play in downtown Baltimore too!
The Play was
"Everything is Wonderful"
It was time to get the yard in order so I spray painted my clay pots, replanted many flowers and plants, pulled and replaced some things and also put down 50 bags of mulch.
February 28th vs Winter Springs
Chloe's mentioned on Twitter
for her 5 goals and 1 assist
March 2019
March madness...ok not really. Just more lacrosse and some spring break fun.
Isaac's Spring Break 3/8-3/17
Isaac's spring break was a week before Chloe's and he chose to go to Maryland to visit Granny and Grampy for a few days. He got to unwind and relax and take lots of naps! Came back to FL fresh and ready to coach! Oh and go back to classes! Isaac had made a bet with his JV team about winning 5 games ...if they did he'd dye his hair....bet was lost! The lacrosse boys chose neon green...yikes!
Scott, coach Mitch and Chloe had a clinic for a team of lacrosse players from Japan. They said it was truly an awesome experience. What a great day for them!
March 6th vs Lyman High School
March 8th vs Alpharetta GA
Can't beat these sunsets!
March 13th vs Trinity Prep
Chloe Spring Break 3/15-3/24
She had a lacrosse game vs an excellent team from Virginia. March 18th vs St. Stevens/St. Agnes.
Chloe's leg still hurting...Laila carrying her off the field!
Pizza Party Field Side with the other team
Chloe, Ashley and I went to Florida Tech (Ashley's future University) for a lacrosse game. We got poured on and it wasn't very warm! We then stayed the night in Ft. Pierce and off to Chloe's University for another lacrosse game.
Florida Tech
Chloe makes me laugh...look at that face!
After Chloe gave us the mini tour and a quick visit to the book store the girls dropped me off at Downton Abbey the Exhibition that was in City Place in West Palm Beach. I LOVED it! I'm a huge fan of the show and just had a great time checking out all the history and fashions they had on exhibit. The girls enjoyed time at the beach...a win win! Then we headed to watch the game.
Palm Beach Atlantic
Girls to the Beach
Downton Abbey the Exhibition
This will be very very very boring if you don't care or know about the show...LOL!
Small replica of Downton Abbey
The items were all authentic from the time period. They used them all on the show as well. Even old postcards and train tickets.
Mrs. Hughes Dress and keys
Even letters written on the show
The electric mixer that Daisy brought to the kitchen
Toaster Mrs. Hughes got
Mary's toy dog she gave to Matthew before he left for war
The real actors came to see the Exhibition and loved it all!
Shirley MacLaine (aka Mrs. Levinson)
Her outfit she wore the first time she came to the show
Dowager Countess of Grantham outfit
The kitchen... it had an audio of sounds from the show of cooking and smells too! It was all the real cabinets, ovens, dishes, pots, outfits...it all!!!
The Staircase that leads to the dining room (on the show)
Staff Dining Area
The bells that will ring from the rooms upstairs when the staff is needed
Lady Mary Crawley's Bedroom
It was told that when they set up to do bedroom scenes sometimes they would do numerous shows and different scenes b/c it took so much time to get the rooms ready for filming. So in one day they could do 3-5 different scenes one could be a fight, one could be dressing and happy, one could be someone giving birth....so emotions and long days in one small room could be pretty intense.
One of Edith's Wedding Dresses
Mary's Riding Outfit
Another of Edith's wedding dresses...they mentioned that they wanted each dress to be very different so one was silk and one was lace
The stitch work on the dress was amazing...it took more than 1000 hours for this dress alone
Mary's Wedding dress to Matthew
Mr. Bates and Mrs. Bates ...I do!
I loved this dress that Edith wore...it was very heavy from on the beads
This dress of Mary's was the most gorgeous ... I think they need to sell these in stores! I'd totally buy this one!
Rose's Debutante Presentation Dress
Who could forget Sybil's Harem Pants Outfit
The Dining Room
The Cast would let out a huge sigh when they had to do scene's in the dining room. They would take 5-8 hours at a time and the food was also real. It would get super funky smelling after a long time. On the show they'd have fish on the menu so that is what is actually on the plates...well after sometime of taping all the seasons you'll realize they have less fish and more chicken b/c of the smell's after a long day of taping. The lights would get hot and it was taped sometimes in the heat of the summer. No AC! YUCK!
I'd love to be back in that time living that life...so cool!!!!!
Ready to watch the game
Not sure if you can see girls below...tossing ball before game started...and before the rain started again!
We are finishing up the month of March with smiles!
