January 2nd, 2009

The men went golfing at Disney. The green grass was just too pretty to pass up so Micheal and Scott enjoyed a day of golf. We won't discuss their scores.

Diane, Isaac, Chloe and myself walked around Downtown Disney. We also went to see the movie 'Despereaux'.

Here are some photos from our day out...

After our long day we ALL went back to our house. This is Michael and Diane's first visit with us so the kids loved showing them around. Also they got to meet the newest members of the Gallant Family.

Happy New Year 2009

We claimed this day as a day of rest. Enough Disney Parks for a little while. We did have a nice visit with our friends/neighbors and fired up their margarita machine.

We hope you all had a safe and happy new year!

Arabian Nights Dinner Show

We made a very busy day. We first went to Epcot. Grandma and Granddad got their early and were able to ride all the rides. We came a bit late and didn't ride anything, because of the crowds. We did walk around and enjoy the sites.

We had tickets to Arabian Nights dinner show. We had the VIP passes and were able to see the horses up close, pet them, sit on one and take lots of photos.

MGM HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

This was a big day...New Years Eve DAY!

Chloe and I went to a sound show done by Drew Carry and when we were let in through the turn-style they stopped the people behind us. We though maybe it was full so we went in and were bombarded by Disney works. They gave Chloe some Mickey ears and said here you go congratulations. Then they started yelling...we have the last one! The gave me the last set of '2008 Year of a Million Dreams' Mickey ears. Our picture was taken by a lot of Disney workers cameras and they were making a bit of a scene. I thought at first it was part of the show, but then I realized ...hey this is cool! You know me I don't like the attention...
I didn't take the ears off for the rest of the day! Even in different parts of the park the workers said Wow your one of the lucky ones to get those ears...I had to say...NO I was the last one!!! The chosen one...kidding!

We have never rode this ride before, because there has always been a very very long wait and the fast passes go quickly. So the first thing we did was get a fast pass for this ride...it's the TOY STORY RIDE...and well worth it. What a blast! It's a 3D shooting and again keeping score! WE all loved it!

Early in the day Michael, Scott, Isaac and I went on the Rockin' Roller Coaster then went on the Tower of Terror. We really enjoy these. While in line at the Tower of Terror Grandma decides to take Chloe on the Rockin' Roller Coaster. I'm thinking as an over protective mom (yes that's me and I admit it) this is a horrible idea. Well Chloe did it! She some how got on the ride ...she's not tall enough to go on. She loved it and wanted to do it again. We all tried again later, but she was denied because of her height so we all passed for the 2nd ride. She's hoping to grow by the next visit so she can ride it again! Thank you Grandma!

Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show

A must see!

When Scott and I went to Aruba for the first time we were there for a poker tournament. We met a couple Andy and Kari from Everett, Washington. Small world to find people where I used to live. We enjoyed hanging out at the beach and partying with them while we were on "ONE HAPPY ISLAND". We've kept in touch (it's been 4 years now) via emails and Christmas cards. Oddly enough they had recently moved to Arizona and were coming to Florida for Christmas. Andy's mom lives near Tampa. We got together at our house for a visit. We finally got to meet their son Jason. He and the kids had a great time playing together. Jason did take a spill into the pool by accident...these things happen!

Congrats to them on their up and coming BABY GIRL! Hope to see you all again soon!

The Magic Kingdom of MANY MANY MANY PEOPLE!

Sunday December 28th, 2008

Another beautiful day in Central Florida! It's hard to believe we were close to New Years at this point. The crowds were there, but we got Fast Passes to rides, waited for some and filled our pie holes with food. Life was good!

We have some favorite rides, but one we can all agree on is the Buzz Lightyear ride. Not sure if it's the competition to see who gets the best score or shooting lasers!

Christmas Parade
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas Parade

Chloe and I got to walk through Mickey's house and garden. Then we waited in line for almost an hour to see Mickey. To our surprise Minnie was there too! Chloe was so excited! This maybe the first time I've seen them close up too! They aren't very tall...

Takin' a nice relaxing ride

Chloe got her PINK cotton candy...yummers!

Isaac got his Tom Sawyer gun finally!
