Isaac and Lacrosse

On Jamboree weekend Isaac went to Eryk's house along with a few other friends to help Eryk preform a science experiment. They all had a great time since it had to do with their favorite sport. Bonus was Eryk's mom served pizza and ice cream!

Michael Isaac and Eryk

Tournament weekend in Palm Coast, FL
November 10th & 11th

Isaac played for the U13 group. Many of the boys this was their first tournament and first time really playing in a big game. They got to play 5 games throughout the weekend and Isaac was in goal the entire time. Took a few good hits and many bruises, but had a blast. What's not to love hanging out with your friends all weekend long playing lacrosse!

Eryk played up to the U15's as their goalie. Most of the experienced 8th graders played up. Which was great so Isaac and Eryk could play goalie the entire weekend and not have to share time.

Time for a much needed break from lacrosse...soon they'll miss it and want to get back out on the field.

JAMBOREE

November 3rd, 2012

Chloe's yearly Fall Jamboree was underway later in the day so it was GREAT to sleep in and not be up and at the field at 7am.
This year the coaches played a game together which was very fun to watch. It was a 20minute game men vs woman. If it wasn't for the 2 Gallant's (Scott and Isaac) the guys would be hurtin'...ha! No really they had some points and assists they were awesome!
Chloe had a great game too. The one shot she did make was saved..bummer. Her friend Renee had one goal called back and then had one count.
Jamboree is always a fun day where the girls can get a little wild and crazy with each other. We parents (some of us) join in the fun too.

October 19th ~ 31st

October 19th, 2012

Grampy and Granny coming to celebrate her birthday with her!
They got here the day before and the kids were off school so we went to lunch and enjoyed spending some quality time together. Chloe had lacrosse practice that night and a early game the next day.

Chloe's 11th Birthday!
October 20th, 2012

Chloe did great in her game (as usual). They won 8-3 and had fun day.

Chloe scoring a goal

Chloe and one other 5th grader in her school had their art work chosen to be displayed in the Winter Springs Art Festival. We were so proud of her!

Lunch Break

It was time to go pick up Chloe, Grampy and Daddy's race information. They signed up to run the Breast Cancer 5K.

Back home the kids had a game of 'house basketball' ...we don't have a basketball hoop so they toss it up and hit a small part on the house to score.

Finally time to open some birthday presents!

Pumpkin Pie was requested for a 'birthday cake'

Time to cool off and relax in the pool!

October 21st, 2012

The morning of the 5K we had to wake up early and leave the at 6:30am. It was a bit chilly, but a beautiful morning. The race was held at UCF (about 15 minutes from our house).

October 26th, 2012

Chloe's beloved hamster PEPER passed away. She is truly missed by all of us. Lots of tears shed for our dear Peper.
Chloe wanted a proper burial for her. Peper used to sleep in socks so we found a sock for her and Chloe picked out one of her favorite Christmas decoration boxes and a pretty pink bow. Chloe picked a place in the yard and we said our good byes.
Chloe made a beautiful stone to put over Peper too.

October 27th, 2012

Our 15 year wedding anniversary!

My mom was still visiting, but worried about getting home before Hurricane Sandy so she flew out a couple days early (early this morning).
Then it was time for Chloe's lacrosse game. They had a big win and a fun day on the field!

October 31st, 2012
Happy Halloween!
We had planned on walking around with Chloe, but after she had her dinner she said it was just too cold outside and didn't want to go. We enjoyed some quiet time at home and the kids were in bed by 8pm! Nice!

Some gifts from Ms. Denise... Always fun and full of surprises when we open her box!

OMG what is this!!!
