4th Of July
2009
We got to spend our 4th of July at the river house. We drove there on the morning of the 3rd and left at 4am on the 5th to go home.
It was a glorious couple days. The weather was perfect and we all just had such a great time. Mom and Michael came on the 3rd as well. Ryan joined us on the 4th.
It's hard to believe, but now the kids are old enough to drive without an adult on the golf cart. Although we told them they had to stay on the property if there was no adult with them. Oh how excited they were...

Granddad put Chloe to work with him hauling branches.
Grandma, Scott and Isaac played a ruthless game of croquet.
Bella and Lucy certainly made themselves right at home.
Ryan brought his hammock and Chloe thought it was just too fun to play in. Ryan ended up taking a nice nap in it later in the day after playing in the water.
Playin' in the water...this is were my camera started acting up again and then the battery also needed a charge.
They had so much fun in that water with 'Big Bertha'. Ryan and Chloe both got some jellyfish stings...they are tough cookies!
Scott, Me and Isaac rode our bikes some while we were there...I've always wanted to have my bike down there so I took advantage of it.

Scott and Ryan lit off the fireworks Grandma bought that night down by the big house. The rest of us sat inside the great screened in deck so we didn't get eaten by the bugs!
Wish those couple days could have been longer. The dogs were so happy to run free and so were the kids. We had a great time and look forward to our next visit there.
Also happy Ryan could make it too...that was a special treat for all of us.
