Busch Gardens Adventure

This summer we were given 4 free Busch Gardens tickets and we finally got to use them. It's about a 2 hour drive from our house to the park in Tampa. We have never been and didn't know what to expect. When we got there it was so COLD! Scott.. being the loving husband that he is gave me his sweatshirt to put over the one I already had on! Despite the cold temps in the morning we had such a great time! It exceeded our expectations.

Monkeying Around

We find 'fun' where ever we go!
And LOOK ... elephants!

On our way to the train ride...

We went on a train ride that went right through were the animals walk around. They can cross right over the tracks in front of us. The kids loved it...OK...so did the adults! Some of the many animals we got to see.

Isaac went on any and every roller coaster he could...he was a an inch too short to ride a few of the big ones.
We all agreed that 'Cheetah Chase' was AWESOME...we rode it 3 times in a row! Chloe could have rode it all day!

The JOY on her face says it all...

Bumper Cars...watch out crazy drivers!

We are not sure if it was great timing or the weather, but it was not crowded at all. We hardly had to wait in lines if at all. We really enjoyed our experience here.
They are not afraid of heights!

At lunch time the kids danced around with these guys...

Guess who was there... SANTA!

More wild life...

The SkyRide takes you over parts of the park. It was very cool to see the animals from above like this.

We loved watching the tiny Meerkats. What funny little creatures!

Chloe loved this ride...she told some of you who have called recently about it. You pull the black bar back and forth and it makes you go up and down. Most kids on this ride were quiet, but not our Chloe. She whooped-hollered!

In the evening the caretakers put some of the animals into buildings to stay warm. We look at some of them through windows except for these funny flamingos who were not scared of us at all. Scott got very close to one and was making a noise as I flashed the camera it scared him to death...he jumped sky high backwards! The laughs never end.

We made the most of our trip here from open ...

to close.
