FAY

Tropical Storm Fay seems to change by the hour. It's now 5pm on Wednesday and Fay has hit a holding pattern over Florida. Since this is our first tropical storm we didn't know what to expect. Last night we had tornado warnings till 1am so the kids camped out in our bedroom on the main level of the house. We slept with one eye open!

The kids missed their 2nd and 3rd day of school due to the weather. We think schools will be opened tomorrow. We are crossing our fingers!

We've been blessed in Seminole County with wind gusts and rain. According to the news we have had about 2-4 inches of rain so far in our county. There are some county's being torn up pretty bad and lots of flooding. They don't expect Fay to leave us for a few days (as of now).

I just took this short video from our covered area in the backyard. Our little lake has white caps (which we've gotten before when it wasn't a tropical storm). As a matter of fact the storm we had the 1st night in our house that took a tree down was very scary.
