Always time to celebrate ...again and again...

Our nephews couldn't be with us on Christmas day so we got to go back and do more celebrating. Isaac just loves to play with Matthew and Ryan...the brothers he'll never have.
They rounded Grandma up for a game of ping pong...

Chloe found her own entertainment jumping from object to object in the basement and dodging ping pong balls!

Matthew and Ryan got an air hockey table for Christmas and couldn't wait to try it out...

Can't forget about the yearly pictures in front of the tree...
Happy Holidays!

Christmas Day

Part 1

Christmas morning before 7am...
Kids running towards the stockings to see what was in them...

Not really noticing that Santa did eat the cookies and hot chocolate...Daddy had to point it out.

Chloe pretty geeked about her new bike...almost running over Daddy with the video camera and me with my camera.

Part 2
Great Grandma Gallant's house

Over the river and through the woods to Grandmothers house we go!
Chloe napped on the ride over. Isaac told us Chloe came into his room at 5:02am to get him up for presents. Isaac being the smart boy that he is told her to let Mom & Dad sleep a little longer. That was good advice maybe Chloe should have done that too!

This year we were amused by a flying monkey and crazy head gear.
Chris brought a caped crusader that would fly through the air and make crazy monkey sounds when it landed. At one point he launched it through the air at Scott making him yell out "I thought that was a flying ferret"...it was hysterical!

Marilyn and Larry provided some crazy head gear that Chloe had to try for herself.

Chloe got these cute butterfly clips too...

Part 3
Lambs House

Making our last stop for Christmas day. We were happy to celebrate with Mom & Michael (aka Grandma and Granddad), but also with Scott's Grandma and Grandpa Dixon, Tennessee Grandparents Willy and Jack, Uncle John and Stacy..lets not forget Suzette and Dusty the dogs. We had a great time catching up with them, opening gifts, eating too much and then more family came for dessert. We got to see Uncle Ron, Aunt Wilma, Meredith (newly engaged congrats), Kelsea, Ronda, Pete, Nick and his beautiful girls...it was a house full indeed.

Uncle Chris with Suzette and Isaac ready to open some presents!

Chloe starting early...

The kids with their new scooters!

Scott sporting his new Washington Capitals jersey...NICE

Part 4
The Day After...

The day after Christmas we usually go back to Mom & Michaels to help out with left overs. Not only that we wanted to visit more with the Lamb Crew.
First we had to try out some of our new toys we got for Christmas...

Chloe & Dusty

Our little Christmas Angel taking a nap...found out today she has a double ear infection...not the happiest of holiday gifts, but she made the most of her Christmas!

Hope you all had a great one too!

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was spent with my side of the family. We went to my parents house to celebrate. We visited, cooked, ate, opened gifts, played and had a great day!
We had a few laughs watching Isaac dance to his music. Daddy and him had a dance contest..."So You Think You Can Dance?"...not sure, but it was hysterical!

I think Isaac liked his Peyton Manning football...I think...

Love at first site for Chloe and her new Rabbit

Chloe making 'Snow Angels...gift wrap Angels'...

Uncle Ryan trying out Isaac's new game and Isaac rocking out to his new MP3 player.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Cookie Tradition

My mom and I have a tradition to make sugar cookies every year. We turn up the Christmas tunes on the radio and make a big flour, sugar and sprinkle mess! This year Granny made them with the kids...I helped a little.

Yes, they did it all...

Time for the creative side...

I think they did too much taste testing...

Moonshine Anyone?

Moonshine is a common slang term for home-distilled alcohol.

This is a picture of Scott's newest beer venture. His first batch of beer was an Indian Pale Ale and as far as IPA is concerned I personally loved it. Had a nice kick to it!

This batch I'll try, but I'm not a huge fan of Stout.

There's nothing like getting the kids involved with a little moonshine...

This batch will be ready to taste in February. If your in the area stop in and have a taste.

Chloe's Party

Chloe's kindergarten class had a winter break party. There was plenty of food and 8 craft tables set up for the children and parents to partake.
Chloe had been absent for a few days due to a horrible cough, but once she was back in 'her' element she didn't need my help.

Chloe making a candle holder..

Picked out a great snack!

The Man Can Cook Too

Scott and I got a night to ourselves while the kids got to go with Granny and Grampy on the Polar Express (pictures to come later on that).

Scott loves to watch all the cooking shows on TV and came up with his own concoction to make for us...

Homemade french fries...

Indian Pale Ale (also homemade) with Chicken and Vegs...

Maybe he'll become a chef when retirement rolls around. I could handle this every night of the week...

Isaac's Basketball Season has begun! Coach Gallant has stepped up to the plate again to coach. This winter season is a bit more fun with the boys practicing once a week on Tuesday nights and playing on Saturdays.

The first game was this past weekend...

Isaac played well...he didn't score, but he had a great time.

We did win too...not that it's important!!

Chloe and Uncle Ryan cheered them on...

Go Purple Patriots!
