Isaac's Party

Isaac had a few friends over for a birthday celebration. The first order of business was NERF WAR which lasted 2 hours!
Second order of business was a lacrosse game 2 on 2 ... Dad as Goalie for everyone.
The ultimate winners were Isaac & Kyle.

Back to School Time
August 15th, 2011
It's back to school time here in Florida! Chloe's heading into 4th grade and super excited about her new class and teacher.

Chloe wearing one of Daddy's old soccer shirts (almost 30 years old)!
Isaac is now in Middle School (6th Grade)...hard to believe!
And he's off to the bus stop...

I'm happy to report we're on day 4 of school and they both are very happy. Chloe's teacher is great! She's got a few old friends in her class and is making some new ones. Isaac has adjusted just fine to middle school and enjoys the bus ride. He really likes all his teachers and gets to visit with friends at lunch. He has drama class and has to do a presentation on something about himself. He's decided to talk about being a goalie for lacrosse. I know he's gonna have a great year!

Isaac's 12th Birthday

No big birthday bash this year. We're planning on have a few of his friends over this weekend for a Nerf War and maybe something else fun at the house. School started the day after his birthday so having a big party before hand wasn't a great idea.
Isaac asked for SWEET cupcakes for his birthday so he and Chloe picked out two mini's each.
Grandma and Granddad sent along a gift. Isaac spent his money on a huge bean bag which he LOVES!
Chloe's gift to Isaac a homemade card and some fun stuff from her room.
Great Grandma Tudy and Great Grandpa John sent the kids both some money and fun stuff in the mail! What a great surprise!
Granny and Grampy sent a package too!
A huge Grampy Sized Laugh!!! Head back and all!!! Isaac was so excited to open those hockey cards and see who was inside.

Isaac got some lacrosse socks and shorts from us...stylin' ...oh and a hair cut from mom
The biggest Nerf Gun is from Grampy and Granny which he enjoyed using at their house. The second gun is from birthday money (Thanks Ms. Denise). Plus he went back and got even more...a couple more guns and bullets for when he has all his friends over for a war. Thanks for all the other birthday money (all his grandparents)...there are bright orange bullets everywhere!!!

Isaac's birthday lunch we went to Mellow Mushroom and he got a dessert to share with Chloe!
Later that day Catie and Ben came over for a couple hours in the pool!
